This is a book I’ve wanted to read for a while, and it’s now the first book I’ve read in 2010. It’s a fable about following your dream, a transforming and inspirational novel that relates the essential wisdom of listen to your heart. Paulo Coelho’s writing is beautifully poetic and is full of hope about life. The book offers many lessons which touch the reader lightly, yet powerfully. It’s the antidote to self-doubt!

The final race of the season was at a sensational new circuit with some very expensive facilities. At the time of writing the British GP has not been confirmed, and the Abu Dhabi circuit shows the level of competition from the newer venues! It was 1-2 for Red Bull drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber after Lewis Hamilton dropped out following brake problems. World Champion Jenson Button was third, and he had a great battle with Webber in the last few laps of the race.

Although Jenson Button was pleased with one point, Sebastian Vettel kept his title chances alive by winning convincingly on one of the best and most demanding circuits. Vettel now is only sixteen points behind Button with twenty on offer in the remaining two races. Button could have clinched the title in Japan, but will now have to wait for Brazil – where his team-mate is strong – or even the last race of the year!

The story of the Singapore race is that Lewis Hamilton claimed his second win of the Formula 1 season in style, while Sebastian Vettel handed his Brawn title rivals a boost by making a couple of errors, one of which resulted in a drive-through penalty. Jenson Button can now win the championship in Japan.
